Berries
There are over a dozen berries available, from the popular blackberries, cherries and strawberries to the lesser-known acai berries, Goji berries and honeyberries. All berries, though, have potent anti-inflammatory properties.
It’s thanks to the antioxidants in the sweet fruits, in the form of anthocyanins (which give berries their red and purple colors) and its immune-boosting and anti-inflammatory effects. Enjoy berries as often as you can to reduce the risk of suffering from chronic inflammation and heart disease.
