Beta-Blockers
Beta-blockers are meant to treat hypertension and are responsible for blocking the messengers that cause high blood pressure which is how it is lowered. But again, these messengers that are blocked will have a poor impact on the brain. Drugs that end in -olol such as sotalol and propranolol are examples.
