Get Enough Quality Sleep
Sleep deprivation that accumulates is notorious for bringing on health conditions which include diabetes. Your pancreas won’t work as effectively if you don’t get enough sleep which will cause your blood sugar to spike. It is ideal to get 7 to 8 hours of sleep. However, don’t get fewer than 6 hours and don’t sleep for more than 9 hours a night unless you are ill. Don’t consume caffeine past 1 pm, and go to bed at the same time each night. Turn off screens by 2 hours before going to bed and sleep in a dark setting. That helps with melatonin production.
