Conjunctivitis is also known as pink eye as this can be a symptom of the virus. If the virus ended up in your eye, this is how it can present itself. However, once it is in your eyes, it will make its way into the body through the tear ducts. Keep an eye on your overall health if the first symptom you have is pink eye.
