You may have been told to drink water during an intense workout. However, the fact of the matter is this is something you need to know. Your body’s temperature rises as you workout. If you drink cold water it can cause you to cool down to the point that electrolytes can be depleted which means you’ll end up dizzy, nauseated, and have a headache. Drink that water after you are done with your workout.
