Unlike the other surgeries listed here, this one is mostly for the sake of cosmetic appearance. Somewhere around 50 percent of all men in the U.S. will experience enlarged breasts in their lifetime, and having a breast reduction may be their best bed for removing the excess fat and achieving a more masculine look.
If you’re older in age, however, your chances of having this surgery covered are not great––insurance companies are more likely to pay for the surgery if it is needed in young adults or teens who suffer from enlarged breasts.
